Organic Results get more Clicks than Pay Per Click

Organic Results and Higher ROI

Organic or "normal" search engine results get more clicks than Pay Per Click (PPC) or Sponsored Listings.

I still don't understand why someone wouldn't want to do Search Engine Optimization (SEO) on their site instead of setting up a PPC plan. I know all too many companies that forego optimizing their site and turn to the "fast-fix" of PPC. Personally, I'd rather spend money making my website better than paying to have it show up.

Think about it this way. You spend $1,000.00 a month on PPC for ONE search engine. Once that month is over, what have you gained in the long run. Sure you probably had some (although the minority as you will see) new clients. However, your site is still exactly the same.

Now lets take that same $1,000.00 and invest in some SEO. At the end of the month, you have hopefully improved your website so that it is ranking better in the THREE main search engines. After a number of months, you have increased your site's ranking and you no longer need to invest as much into your Search Engine Optimization while the other guys are needlessly forking out more and more money to keep their top position in the Sponsored Listings.

Now here is the best part. According to search engine statistics, 87% of commercial clicks (people that are ready to spend money) are in the organic or "normal" results (NOT the sponsored listings). What a great incentive to optimize, optimize, optimize and get rid of that useless PPC program.

SEO HAWK

PPC consists of certain aspects which are complicated to understand, and difficult to avoid. "Number of Impressions" is a widely used concept in Google Adsense, and you end up paying for a click which never took place. It´s time for search engines to be clear and precise in the way they charge companies for PPC Management
