If firefox is as great as you say it is, I might just make the change too! But what exactly do the "highly recommended extensions" do?

Josh, Great question!
Tabbrowser Preferences gives you more control over how Firefox creates and displays tabs, All-in-One Gestures allows you to do things like right-click and draw a "c" and see what cookies are being stored, right-click and drag left to go back in the history, etc., auto copy will copy any text to the clipboard by simply highlighting it, and firefox view allows you to right-click in IE and choose "View this page in Firefox."

For all of you that are interested in the gestures for All-in-one Gestures, install the extension, restart firefox, and while right clicking move your mouse Down, then Right, then Down. When you release the mouse it will now open up the "Gestures" menu that will show you all of the gestures that are installed.
